Had a bit of a "scare" this morning though. Phone stone cold, turned off. But powered on and booted with no issues. Phew.
Now I wonder what happened before that?
Obviously, new update had been installed. But, I have auto-update set to not automatically reboot, rather just notify.
There IS a general system auto-reboot timer set, though, which must have timed out and triggered a reboot.
But why wasn't the phone up and running post-that?
Is there a another timer eventually shutting down a BFU phone entirely, perhaps? Or did something actually fail in the reboot?
Which also leads me to thinking, what if an automatic update is in progress while an auto-reboot timer runs out? Reboot while update process is still going sounds bad... 😬
