If GOS is pre-installed, what relationship will GOS have with Motorola's 'ThinkShield'?

It's not going to be for all of their phone models. At least not for the foreseeable future. The team suggested that initial support will probably be for the Signature, Razr Fold and Razr Ultra models. They did say that support could expand in the future, but I don't think we're going to see support for Motorola's lower end models for a few years. I'm hoping they'll consider manufacturing a midrange option in 2028 or 2029 so they can start competing with the Pixel A models.

I would assume this is similar to how lenovo does it for laptops with preinstalled ubuntu

i am saying, we dont need to worry about grapheneOs shipping with propertary motorolla apps

Can't help but wonder if this will end up with GrapheneOS Motorola phones becoming almost as popular as BlackBerry was in its heyday.
