Vanadium - File download loop

Hi all,

Think I've tweaked a setting and now don't know what to do.

If I open a PDF file from my downloads in Vanadium, it opens, sometimes displays an "Always Open" toggle (either option doesn't change the problem) then proceeds to keep redownloading the file instead of opening it.

Id prefer to always open with Only Office docs but if I tap top open in the downloads in Vanadium, it doesn't offer the option to select the app to open with, just creates this redownload loop. If I go to files and open with, I can then choose to open with Documents - but can't see auto settings

Anyone know a remedy / which settings to flick back?

jimmii try dragging that Pdf-file from Vanadium download folder with Files app to say, Documents instead.

And in Vanadium settings, go to Downloads section, it should be a toggle for 'Automatically open Pdf'.

jimmii prefer to always open with Only Office docs

When in Vanadium downloads folder (not the downloads settings from my former post), to the furthest right of the Pdf file name, three-dot, select 'share', or longpress and select 'share'. Options for opening should show up at the bottom of your screen.

This helped as well if anyone has same issue - set it to documents as the auto one :))
