Hello,
I accidentally made Vanadium the default app that opens PDF files in my local files app (default GrapheneOS files app) when it asked my preferences in a pop up message.
Now, when I open a file in, say downloads, the phone opens Vanadium and starts spamming new tabs and downloading endless copies of that file back to my downloads folder. The tabs that are rapidly opened in Vanadium are blank and say it cannot detect file.
It's kind of freaky because the Vanadium app almost takes over and keeps opening new blank tabs, indicating that a new copy of the file has been downloaded, and I have to quickly tap on some other random app to stop it, then close out the Vanadium app. At this point, the tabs stop auto-fire populating in Vanadium and I can go back to the files and Vanadium apps to delete the PDF copies and tabs, respectively. But its a real mess, and makes opening the file app stressful. Haha.
I can still toggle around in the files app at the top right to individually open a PDF file using the PDF Viewer. That works and it avoids that crazy thing from happening. But how do I make PDF Viewer the default so that I can just avoid that Vanadium issue and be able to simply tap on a locally saved PDF and have it open in PDF Viewer?
Or, alternatively, is there something I can do to help Vanadium not freak out when I ask it to open a locally saved PDF?
Thank you for your time and help.
