sappy_junior728 iirc the Pixel Camera app doesn't require Google Play. I only used it offline for a brief period, so I can't say what happens once you connect the app to the internet, but as an offline app, it has all the basic functionality (minus AI features) and didn't prompt me once for Play Store or any special Play Services permissions.
As an aside: The Pixel Camera app is good, but I'd personally recommend Open Camera. It's a FOSS camera app with insane customization and professional photography features. That's my recommendation, but up to you ofc 😁
