  • Can't install 50% of apps in sandboxed Play Store

I see an error saying "Can't install AppName. Try again, and if it still doesn't work, see common ways to fix the problem".
I'm on a Pixel 6 Pro.
I've followed those recommendations, also deleted cache, app data for play store, restarted, nothing helps.

This has been happening for months. I'm on the latest stable update for GrapheneOS.

Has anyone encountered this? Is there a solution?

Thank you.

Have you installed all of the Google Play Services apps from the GrapheneOS Apps app? Google Play Store won't function properly without Google Play Services installed and you should install Google Services Framework too. All three need the network permission and Google Play Services requires unrestricted battery usage.

Hello, thank you for taking the time to rowly.
I have all 3, Google Playstore, Google Play Services and Google Services Framework.

All have network and all had unrestricted battery usage, except for play store. I switched that and I still have the same issue.

      Any other ideas?

        Install google play games.

SirLordThrThird Could you try starting a completely new user profile and setting up Google Play Services there and try installing apps.

This would be confirm whether or not there is an issue with the set up of Google Play Services in the user profile you are currently using.

Hi! Thanks both for the replies.
Found the solution, I needed to give permissions to Google Play Store to write in the OBB folder.
