GrapheneOS + WireGuard + PFSENSE issue

Hello everyone,

I'm trying to configure WireGuard, but with very mixed results. I ran the test again with an old Samsung and it works, so I can't “blame” my configuration on my PFSENSE firewall because I do have the “green hand” visible (in PFSENSE) in addition to the connection activity.

However, with my new installation in GrapheneOS, I do have connection information, but no “green hand” and no network access.

If you have any ideas, I'm all ears and will try them as soon as possible.

Cpt_FLAM Have you checked the VPN Kill switch in system settings? It sometimes gave me problems. I think it is enabled by default, once you begin a vpn connection...

Which network access, do you mean? To your LAN or to the Internet (routed via VPN)? It is not clear what you try to accomplish.

I use a similar scenario, but instead of pfSense I use OPNsense. Recently switched from the official WireGuard app to WG Tunnel.

But I can assure you with both clients I have/had no issues on recent GrapheneOS versions. So, focus on your config, firewall rules, etc. If works for one device but not for other, not always the problem is in that device itself. See similar discussion here.

Are you referring to the "Permanent VPN" option in the WireGuard VPN settings?

Where is the "kill switch" option? sorry

Thank you, I'll look into it. So far, I've only compared two phones on my own network, under identical conditions. I'll take a look at the topic you mentioned.
