mmobder Not for me on couple of different pixels, one can choose per-display scaling in connected devices, so one just need to show some curiosity, it's indeed easy to find. You can even choose per-display connection mode (desktop, mirror, etc)
Already done that. Do you want a specific example of what I mean? Look at your notification icons on the phone's lockscreen and notice that they're huge. Other apps show elements smaller than the should be (almost unreadable) due to for example being launched on the desktop and transferred to the phone screen. One could argue that's an app bug, but it affects the quality of the desktop experience, so I'm mentioning it.
mmobder don't know what are you talking about, have different pixels with various FP sensor locations, nothing of that happens that differs from non-desktop mode.
Well that doesn't mean it doesn't exist. I got it at least thrice. You know how normally your phone displays its lockscreen and the external monitor shows a clock? They kept switching around for me. And of course they were scaled terribly.
mmobder we're very sorry this experimental feature doesn't have all the shiny pink bells and whistles from day one so no one can complain they're not happy
You don't have to be snarky. I explicitly used the list of bugs to justify why I consider the feature experimental and incomplete. Some people think it's stable when in fact it isn't.
mmobder with a little brain efforts
Thanks for the kind words.
mmobder one can't yet move windows between VDs
I could and it's explicitly listed in the keyboard shortcuts list. The new desktop button did nothing at times.
One last thing: bugs aren't always universal, they can totally be related to your device or something even more improbable. I saw what I mentioned with my eyes and while it may not be the most common behaviour, there's no guarantee others won't experience it. You can't deny its existence.
