Bank that's GrapheneOS-friendly?

While many posts here talk about banks that work with GrapheneOS, I have a different approach. Instead of finding banks that work for now but could make a new update tomorrow that keeps GrapheneOS crippled, which bank is FOSS friendly?

Is there such a bank that I can fully trust will support GrapheneOS forever?

I will register to a bank that fits GrapheneOS and not the other way around.

We HAVE convinced apps including Starling Bank to permit GrapheneOS. Those apps adjusted checks to permit it.

A Dutch bank (Triodos Bankieren NL) has added explicit support for GrapheneOS and will be testing it going forward

The banks mentioned have explicitly chosen not to use Google Play Protect for GOS users and have instead followed the Attestation Compatibility Guide.

However no one can predict the future, and just because they support GOS now, does not guarantee they will in the future.

This cannot be guaranteed and can happen to anyone regardless of whether they have Stock Pixel OS, GrapheneOS, HarmonyOS, OneUI, etc.

Tiktaka You could also ask your potential bank if they have web site banking. You could use that in case of emergency.

In my opinion local credit unions (for United States) are least likely to drop GOS support since requiring play integrity would cripple support for a lot of older/poor people with outdated phones. Credit unions really don't have the extra funds for tech support to deal with this and they probably don't even know how to enable play integrity. The credit unions all use a similar cookie-cutter banking interface that has same interface via a website if the app really does not work.
