nandohyphen1 es, you can turn it off. Go to Settings > Sound and Vibration > Vibration and Haptics under the section Interactive haptics turn touch feedback all the way off (slide the slider all the way down). This will disable touch feedback for the entire phone, including unlocking it with the screen lock.>
Yes I know, but that's exactly what I don't want to do. I want it to vibrate on notifications, calls, etc. except for when unlocking the screen
Sorry for my unclear question but thanks for telling me how to turn off vibration completely
Novalissoide These aren't running plain AOSP, their OS comes with loads of things on top of AOSP, which is not a production-ready OS, rather an archaic base for an OS that is runnable. Hence the easily made assumption that GrapheneOS 'removed things' or 'changed things to the worse compared to Pixel stock', but Gos isn't from Pixel Stock except the not-even-barebones AOSP-part, which the project changes just to a small extent as far that I understand it
True that, but according to serveral sources I stumbled upon (I think it had also been mentioned in the thread of the announcement of the new release, not sure about that though) Pixel stock OS also has that haptic feedback when unlocking the screen (and AOSP per default)
nandohyphen1 yes
May I ask: What's the point in doing so, if I just want to turn it off when I'm unlocking the screen?
Anyways, am I the only person experiencing that phenomenon? Or am I just the only one who wants to turn it off?
