Can't access local addresses with non-standards ports after update

After updating from Vanadium 143.0.7499.146.0 to 144.0.7559.76.0, I can no longer access local network services using IP addresses with non-standard ports.

working 143.0.7499.146.0 (version code: 749914633)
not working 144.0.7559.76.0 (version code: 755907633)

Affected
Direct navigation in Vanadium browser fails to load
Apps using Vanadium WebView (like Joplin, or traccar) cannot connect

Working
Other browsers (Brave, IronFox) on same device can access these addresses
Router interface 192.168.1.1 works in Vanadium
Same addresses work in Vanadium 143 on my tablet

Can reproduce consistently on Pixel phone with v144, cannot reproduce on Pixel tablet with v143.

dhhdjbd yes. That explains my issue. But, unlike you, once I turned off "always use secure connections", I was able to connect.

So, there still is a problem. With that toggle off, there is no ability to be warned about connecting to an http site. Just a white screen.

My issue was resolved.

It was an upstream Chromium regression which has been worked around by Vanadium Config 147. You can update to that and restore the setting to the default secure mode.
