Youtube does not work

Hi,

I am setting a pixel 9 from my father. My configuration is: installing and store apps in Owner with all the installed apps disabled.

Then, in the private user (of the owner profile), I able all the apps. Everything works fine less Youtube. It doesn't work. After several configurations (installing on a new user, from Aurora, from Google play store...), it works only on the Owner profile.

I have left the app as it comes by defect. I have tried activating "compatibility option", with less security but it is still failing.

Any siggestion?... I know that Newpipe is an option but I not sure it would work with YouTube links.

Also, try configure Newpipe 'app options', entry 'open by default', if you won't get the 'open with Newpipe' suggestion otherwise.

@Dboy had the same issue on my end as well. YouTube does not seem to work properly in private space for some reason, tried all variations of playing around with exploit protection settings.

YouTube links do work with NewPipe but you have to copy and paste them in NewPipe search bar.

No, you should be able to 'share link', and select Newpipe. Or select text with the link and then do 'share text', or 'share link', and then select Newpipe.
At least it works for me, on Newpipe Refactor Nightly, though I strongly believe it would on normal Newpipe as well.
