stork I face exactly the same issue in my Pixel 8, being stuck at 2025120401 release.

Ushername Is it possible to describe exactly what happens? Does System Updater download a new release? Does it prompt for the device to be rebooted? What happens when the device reboots?

de0u System Updater download the new release update via OTA > installl it successfully > verified successfully > request user to reboot.

Then I hit reboot > the phone reboots and attempts to apply the release without success for 2 or 3 times as the OP described > then the phone rolls back > then reboots and start being at 2025120401 release.

I have tried same alternatives as the OP (sideloading, changing release channel, wiping updater data, also recently changing date and time to 2 years further) and the result remain the same.

It is still present and not fully fixed. I do not have github account to do it.

Ushername Need to see ADB logcat of the boot attempt to the new version. To capture it, enable persistent USB ADB access on previous OS version, set USB-C port setting to "On", reboot to install the update and then run:
adb logcat -v uid,descriptive --buffer all --dividers > logcat.txt.

Send the logcat.txt file to logs@grapheneos.org or to my Matrix (@muhomorr:grapheneos.org) or Discord (muhomorr_ , with underscore at the end).

Seems to be similar to issue 6868
