Hello everyone,
I'm new to my Pixel 10 Pro XL running GrapheneOS (new user). I'm having some issues with notifications. My question is whether this is because the OS is still in “experimental” mode or not.
I've read a lot of threads and followed all the explanations.
To summarize, here are my settings:
Google Play Store
– Settings –> Permissions –> “Network, Notifications, Sensors”
– Settings –> App battery usage –> “Allow background usage” – “No restrictions”
Google Play services
– Settings –> Permissions –> "Network, Notifications, Sensors"
– Settings –> App battery usage –> "Allow background usage" – "No restrictions"
Signal –> “About app” –> Permissions –> “Camera, Nearby devices, Contacts and accounts, Network, Notifications, Photos and videos, Sensors, Phone”
Threema –> “App info” –> Permissions –> “Contacts and accounts, Network, Notifications, Photos and videos, Sensors”
WhatsApp –> Seems to work well. I actually have more contacts than on Signal or Threema, so my tests are more complicated to carry out for that reason.
I installed “Signal” and ‘Threema’ after installing both “Google” sandboxed. Do I have to uninstall both and reinstall them!? I'm afraid of breaking even more and adding another problem because I read that the order of installation could make a difference!?
I also restarted the phone and turned it OFF, then ON.
What do you think, what can I try?
Thank you for your opinions, advice, and help.
Cpt.
