I'm wondering how effective my set up is compared to having all apps installed on a pixelOS device privacy wise
My data profile is probably huge, on my last phone a pixelOS 7a I had every proprietary app under the sun, google shit, fastfood shit, store shit, amazon shit, gig app shit like doordash, a mess, all under emails using my real name (a tutanota and a few gmails)
I got a brand new pixel 9a off of amazon with some early Christmas money I got, and I installed graphene OS right off the bat
I planned to ditch my old phone so I made two profiles on graphene on my 9a, FLOSS and PLAY are the user names, I think its self evident but FLOSS is all obtainium/f-droid apps, and PLAY had Google play services and play store so I could have banks and YouTube music and such, I signed into one of my gmails once on the PLAY profile on the play store
Then I thought why not install graphene on the 7a and use it to use play store apps, so I did that and deleted the PLAY profile on the 9a and now it's completely FLOSS apps, although some of the apps rely on non-free services like pipepipe, kreate, Nora (used only for reddit, new profile), forecastle, organic maps, I created a new main email to use on this phone with posteo and I paid for it with a credit card, I also signed into my shroomery with my 9a and I use the same (gopher) username almost everywhere
On the 7a I have one profile, and I signed into all the same shit I had on pixelOS such as youtube, gmail, play store, PC optimum, banks, tutanota, etc
I keep the 7a in airplane mode unless I need to use it I turn on WiFi only
I keep the 9a cellular modem and Bluetooth on when I want to use internet at my friends house, which is almost always, I keep wifi on only at home, and sometimes I turn airplane mode on when traveling (except Bluetooth which I need for headphones), unless I'm expecting an important call then I'll travel with the cellular on
Does keeping Bluetooth on while traveling defeat the purpose of keeping cellular and wifi off while traveling? Is Bluetooth shaking hands with other phones Bluetooth and someone could theoretically be tracking that?
I think that explains my set up, thoughts?
