Internet not working (already changed connectivity checks)

I have a pixel 9 with graphene os. It suddenly stopped connecting to internet. I have 5g and can make calls. But the internet just pops up awindow that says 'your connection is not private " this happens for every website. I also csnt update or connect my VPN. I read 2 posts saying to change the connection tibity checks to Google or disabled. I did so, restarted phone and still the same issue. Wifi symbol says limited connection
But even just using phone data produces the same results

Kebs13 It isn't said which VPN is in use (which client app, which server), but offhand it sounds as if that is the problem. Turning off "Block connections without VPN" and then completely deleting the VPN app would probably be a good experiment to run.

Try a different Wi-Fi network, such as a coffee shop or library?

de0u thats not it, I have the vpn turned off right now so that's not playing a role in it. The connection isnt going through the vpn at all

de0u I have. Its not just the wifi, as mentioned its also doing it on regular phone data as well

Kebs13 The likelihood that the VPN is "not playing a role" is a lot higher if it is deleted than if it is "turned off".

de0u the vpn is logged out of the account completely. Its not running at all as there is no connection. Ive also done a network and factory reset. Always on vpn is turned off. I am confident the vpn is not the issue. I am familiar with vpn connection issues. This is not it. There were people having same exact issues and changing the "internet connectivity check" from graphene to Google or to disabled worked. But does nothing to solve my issue. Deleting the vpn app was the first thing I tried

Same issue here and I have tried multiple networks with all VPN's turned off. It used to work and I have booted up my Pixel 10 after maybe a month of having it turned off. Did you fix it, @Kebs13 ?

Hi, I feel the need to point out as a VPN user that disabling your VPN does NOT mean it's not interrupting your connection especially if you have connect only by VPN on.
