ToughDBlue In the Settings I can search and find Lockscreen Widgets and Parental Controls but they don't work. Will these features be included in another update? According to Android Authority and 9 to 5 google these should be included in AOSP. The Parental Controls would be very helpful to parents who want to give their kids a secure GOS phone. Also, lockscreen widgets would be useful for multiple widgets, especially weather widgets.
Novalissoide gos27371 this might work, not sure about it but looks functional. Settings > Apps > Sandboxed Google Play > Google settings > All services > Parental Controls
ToughDBlue Novalissoide Novalissoide Thanks for the info. I tried that and once it asked for a google account that was when I closed it out. Not using a google account in order to use Parental Controls. I'm surprised there isn't a FOSS app that does Parental Controls. At least not one I've found.
cupcake-alibi ToughDBlue I'm surprised there isn't a FOSS app that does Parental Controls. At least not one I've found. I encountered TimeLimit.io (F-Droid) in this post of ThePrivacyDad. I haven't tried it myself. It's probably less well integrated in the OS compared to Google's Parental Controls, but it could be good enough for you.
Novalissoide nandohyphen1 Just Afu for Camera, Bfu for Torch. Makes sense. Also, when 'unblock camera' gets done with fingerprint, it wont ask for it again at user exit camera.
Novalissoide Settings > Security & privacy > Device unlock > Screen lock Unlock Enable camera access when locked It was hidden by the screenlock itself. Also, they need to be longpressed, not swiped on lockscreen
