Phone app misbehaves on split screen foldable

When making a call while a foldable is open (pixel fold in my case) and in split screen, the phone app shrinks so it's only using half of it's space, instead of filling it's half of the screen. This is an issue because I mainly need this feature when I need to enter in keys and want to have what I'm entering on the other half of the screen, but when it shrinks like that, it's not possible to access the dial pad.

Also, if I have the phone app open on one side of the screen, and another app open on the other side, and start a call, the call goes full screen when I would expect it to stay in it's half of the screen (and maybe start in speaker mode? That would just be a bonus luxury, but unnecessary)

2WsF Did this behavior start happening recently? If so, is it possible to say which release?

de0u no, I think it's happened since getting the fold in august, I just finally got around to reporting 😅
