Kind of curious about the Play Services sandboxed compatibility layer and how much apps are really restricted from talking to each other.
I wonder because the profiles where I allowed Google Play services has no issues showing me message details on my notifications, but the profile where it's not allowed it does not show me. And when I tried to test it out by uninstalling and reinstalling play services, it broke and no longer shows me message details, even when allowing play services to access my messages.
I also have some apps that require play services to be installed. They seem to be communicating with it without my express permission.
Also, when I log into a new app, does it see what Google accounts I'm logged into? I can't really tell if the window that pops up is a Google window or an app window, but either way, I don't know what info is being pulled from it.
This doesn't sound very sandboxed to me. So I'm hoping someone can explain to me how it's supposed to work and what kind of expectations I should set for this OS.
