[Help] User profile arrangement - with Private Space

Hi, I bought a Pixel 9a last week and installed GOS in it a couple of days ago. Taking idea from other discussions in this forum, I created profile system like this:

Owner profile: GOS apps and some FOSS apps that I got directly from the devs (Github, website etc)
Private space inside Owner profile: sandboxed Google Play services, some social media apps, password manager
Banking profile: with shared SMS option enabled, sandboxed Google Play services, bank apps, password manager

Now I want to install Apple Music, I have a subscription. I initially installed it inside the Private space but, obviously, background play is not working there since the space will be locked as soon as I lock the device.

I'm thinking on sticking with sandboxed GPS, since GOS devs have mentioned it in one or two places that it is what they recommend over other stores like Aurora or F-Droid. So should I create another profile for this with sandboxed GPS? But then what's the point of the private spaces that I created? I could move all the apps over there to the new profile.

Any help is appreciated.

You can change this behaviour to only lock on device restarts instead to keep it working in the background.

So if I do that, the Private space will be open till the next restart, is that correct? Then Google Play services also will be running in the background all the time, right? I'm not sure I correctly understand sandboxing in this context.

neerkoli yes it will keep running in the background along with apps in it, including those dependent on Play Services and the services themselves.

MetropleX It's a good idea. I will change the setting to lock only on device restart and if I want to lock immediately, I can manually press the lock button in the UI. Thanks, I didn't think like that.
