Hi, I bought a Pixel 9a last week and installed GOS in it a couple of days ago. Taking idea from other discussions in this forum, I created profile system like this:
- Owner profile: GOS apps and some FOSS apps that I got directly from the devs (Github, website etc)
- Private space inside Owner profile: sandboxed Google Play services, some social media apps, password manager
- Banking profile: with shared SMS option enabled, sandboxed Google Play services, bank apps, password manager
Now I want to install Apple Music, I have a subscription. I initially installed it inside the Private space but, obviously, background play is not working there since the space will be locked as soon as I lock the device.
I'm thinking on sticking with sandboxed GPS, since GOS devs have mentioned it in one or two places that it is what they recommend over other stores like Aurora or F-Droid. So should I create another profile for this with sandboxed GPS? But then what's the point of the private spaces that I created? I could move all the apps over there to the new profile.
Any help is appreciated.
