Hi all,
I know this isn't strictly to do with Graphene, but since that is the OS installed I thought it relevant to bring it up here.
I recently got the Pixel 6a, and installed GOS about four days ago. All was smooth with that. Love the OS, love the phone etc.
However, when I charge the phone it heats up. After about ten minutes of charging it is as warm as if I have left it in the sun. The same thing when I do a video call, it heats up quite substantially. Previous phones haven't done this for me. Even one session involving activities like messaging, switching back and forth between profiles, general browsing etc will heat the phone up. If it's relevant the heat seems to emanate from the left side (lengthwise) of the phone.
Further to this, the battery seems to not go a long way. This is manageable, since it charges so quickly, but is perhaps linked with the heat issue?
I am concerned about the longevity of the device in it's current condition. I have heard this could be a problem, but thought it was solved with updates. Currently the device is on android 13, and all updated to the best of my knowledge.
Any thoughts or considerations are much appreciated.
