GOS Pixel 7 Black Screen on Reboot due to using unsupported developer options.

I have a Pixel 7 with GOS. I was attempting to get my wired external display to show my screen. I enabled "Simulate second display" (no reboot needed) and "enable desktop mode" which requested a reboot. I did, and now my phone is very dim, I can see the titles of "Overlay..." for the dual secondary displays but nothing else. When I hold the power button, it shows the Lockdown, Power off, and Restart screen like normal.

Any tips before completely resetting my phone?

Gr8White still dim after unplugging external screen? Have you tried reversing the settings about desktop?

I believe only the 8 and newer have hardware support for DisplayPort Alt Mode.

I believe "Simulate second display" is a developer option, and in general those are not safe to use.

Maybe a safe-mode boot would help?
