Matthijs I want to add a work account that is managed by an IDP provider (HelloID) As soon as I try to add the account I have to authenticate against IDP HelloID by using its authentication/login website. The HelloID.com website says "This browser is not supported" because I seem to use Vanadium to login (even if I install and make Chrome the default browser) Is there a way to use Chrome in this situation ? Or maybe change the user agent string of the Vanadium browser so I can succesfully authenticate by using the HelloID website ?
Matthijs @Novalissoide This is not an option, when I want to add an account from Settings -> Accounts and I have to authenticate against HelloID website there is not an option to select Desktop site. I tried to login without in HelloID with Vanadium and then there is no issue, it only says "This browser is not supported" when I try to add my work account
Matthijs I configured Vanadium with Desktop site. After login (userid passwd) in HelloID the webpage still says "This browser is not supported" and I cannot use MFA and the account creation process stops
Matthijs Vanadium is announcing itself as Chrome 143 on Android 10, maybe the Android 10 part is to old, or the Chrome 143 on Linux (in Desktop mode) maybe the linux part is the reason it is not supported
Matthijs Can you make "Settings -> Accounts -> Create account" using Brave browser ? I can succesfully sign in in HelloID by using Vanadium, only the create account part is failing
Novalissoide Matthijs I'm not sure, but Brave differs in various ways from Vanadium so it might be worth a try.

Matthijs I tried with brave as default browser and this is not working (same as with Chrome as default browser) GrapheneOS seems to use Vanadium when creating a new account
