Amazon discovered my ip?

While browsing using the Vanadium browser with Orbot enabled—and with Orbot set to route all traffic through Tor—Amazon somehow managed to pinpoint my location. Strangely enough, when I switched to the IronFox browser using the exact same Orbot configuration, Amazon couldn’t determine my location at all.

What do you mean when you say that Amazon pinpointed your location? Did it show an exact address? Longitude and latitude? A city? A country?
How do you know Amazon did this through your IP address?

There are other ways for a browser to leak your location. For example, this could be done based on the time zone of your user profile. Did you enable IronFox's time zone spoofing features?

In your Orbot user profile, visit https://browserleaks.com using both Vanadium and IronFox. Compare the values across the different leak tests to see what's different.

Tor Browser is designed to work best with Tor, but Tor Browser should not be routed over Orbot on Android since it creates a "Tor over Tor" scenario. If you wanted to use Tor Browser from an Orbot profile, you'd need to use split tunneling to exclude Tor Browser.

It's nearly impossible to pinpoint location based on ip address. Your ip address is owned by your ISP and as such will return the registered address of the ISP in that case. If they got your address it's through gps data stored on your device most likely.
