from functional pov, it is one of the worst keyboards i know, even worse than a stock iOS one.
absence of predictive input and spell checking for any language except english (or at least for any language i know, except english) is a bummer.

This is a theoretical side-channel attack, in case you have another app bundle with network permissions to get
the data out to the internet. Not everyone has such a high threat model.
If you used gboard on stock, it's definitelly not worse than that. At least they don't use your input to train LLMs.

you need to activate dictionary in order to enable predictive input for other languages.

that's been discussed on forum already. a study shows that google play services can exfiltrate gboard data via ipc.

p.s. this will be mitigated by upcoming ipc scopes. for now if you happen to need play store (consensus is auroraoss is insecure) in owner profile and google apps without network access in secondary profile

So answering my question, the default GOS keyboard is not able to manage Polish language in the way I want it.
My only solution is installation of additional keyboard, but the sole step in not enough.
I also need to download Polish dictionary and I think that is the key.

Maybe if GOS was able to download additional dictionaries I would be able to use default keyboard with them.

Probably I am wrong, but it is shame that I can not download dictionaries which will work with default keyboard for autocorrection purposes. I hope with time GOS devs solve this problem.

yes, there is no way to add other languages dictionaries.
more funny that there are no Chinese or Japanese languages at all, not just dictionary.

regarding activating dictionaries in stock gos keyboard, i'm not sure how could it be done by user. please could you specify?

Kong oh, brother, there are so many features we need (for me IPC scopes and clipboard scopes are most wanted), while google made it hard with source code delays... actually, there were discussion on the forum to use other open source keyboard as the base for default keyboard (iirc, florisboard), so I think they won't add dictionaries. I'd better vote for space cursor (haha, my languages have built-in dictionaries)

vlad bias aside, all governments with sophisticate cyber resources are the same, be it Russia, USA, EU, China, in regards to closed source apps and intelligence at all. but I believe using such apps without network access is acceptable, especially in secondary profile (until IPC scope).
I also believe that consumer grade encryption and security overall is a gimmick for military grade solutions.

Heliboard is nice. After downloading dictionaries you can block internet connection for it. You could install it from droid-ify or obtainium.

ah, this, sorry, misread and thought of installing addition dictionwries. yes, one needs to activate dictionary in keyboard settings > text correction > add-on dictionaries.

p.s. I've found that English (US) works for both US and GB while English works only for GB input metod.

yes, indeed, that's theoretical and for high threat model. and there's no problem if you don't use other apps of futo devs with network access, and downloaded data for futo voice prior using cache. please, feel free to use futo and don't take my opinion to close. I actually think it is very good keyboard with extremely good local speech–to–text, but I don't use it because gesture input is very bad even for english.
