No external sound, sound adjustment settings cause crashes in whatever app is currently open. No alarm sounds or calls notifications, music ect (Pixel 9 pro fold)

Panda-na Lots of people get surprised that there is a buildup of lint.

Yep, I use an Otterbox Commuter with the dust cover for the USB port. Best case ever. Does a great job at protecting my phone against dropping it too. I used to have an old cheap generic case on my old phone and I winced every time it fell. And no dust cover either on that one, so the USB port got super full of dirt and had to be cleaned all the time :)

It feels like launcher power consumption increased after current release. It sits on top of battery usage with 15%, haven't seen it on top of the list previously. Anyone to confirm?

notacat no, anomalies like that is nearly everytimes the battery monitoring feature struggling with its sampling. Sometimes it lays out the recently collected readings with proportions that may be skewed from restarts, different charging circumstances etc.

Also having location services issues now after the update. Getting the indicator since services are on, but apps aren't able to pull location info at all. On a Pixel 9

Novalissoide I don't have a VPN. Any idea why else? Appreciate you offering help. It's happening in both my Main (non-google) and sandboxed-Google profiles.

Ugh, battery problems are back. :( It charges for about 2-3 minutes and then stops. Under Battery in Settings or on the lock screen it says 'Check Charging Accessory'. I've tried different cables (USB C to USB A and USB C to USB C), cleaned the port, tried different USB port settings in Exploit Protection, but nothing works. :-/

I know some of my friends with Pixel 6a's running GOS started having the exact same problems as me. Its literally impossible to charge my phone without unplugging it and plugging it back in every few minutes. I have to watch it the whole time

I think earlier in the thread (nandohyphen1) you had written that plugging the charger into "an adapter for headphones" and plugging that into the phone resulted in the phone charging. If now "nothing works", does that mean that the previously-working setup no longer works?

No this no longer works. It seems like the phone thinks all cables are defective somehow, regardless of what kind it is.

Tried plugged into the wall, into my computer, with the phone off, with the phone on, I've rebooted the phone, I've done anything I can think of.

nandohyphen1 I have been having a similar problem for several months now. The only reliable charger is my laptop! My Pixel has decided that the charger I had been using for over a year is no good. It charges for about a minute then just stops. I've tried several chargers to no avail.

That sounds like four cables, not four chargers. While it may be possible to charge a phone from a computer, it doesn't work out in all circumstances.
