My Pixel cannot connect to internet after update ( build 2025111801 )

I recently updated my Pixel 8 (build 2025111801). Initially, everything seemed normal after the update. I went to sleep, and when I woke up, none of the apps, except the native ones, would connect to the internet. I'm no longer using any VPN, and my device has simply died from internet connectivity issues.

The following message keeps appearing: socket failed : EPERM

I don't know what else to do. I reset my device to factory settings, but the error persists.

Novalissoide First, I updated and everything worked normally. I was using RethinkDNS + Wireguard from Mullvad. When I turned off my phone to sleep and woke up the next day, simply no app had internet access anymore. I thought it might be a problem with the app (Rethink), so I uninstalled it, but it didn't solve the problem. I reset the network settings, and still nothing. Then I decided to reset the device to factory settings. After doing that, everything worked normally, including the RethinkDNS app, but when I turned off the device and woke up the next day, everything stopped connecting again, and my phone became unusable.

Apps consistently display the same message: socket failed: EPERM

First about RethinkDNS, the recent update, 0.5.5.u, fixed a whole lot of issues, if you haven't updated, then do go update.

bubbleshoot It sounds as if the system works after a factory reset until RethinkDNS is installed and time passes. Is it possible to try a factory reset followed by using it for several days without RethinkDNS?

I've been using the system since 2021 and nothing like this has ever happened to me before.
