wanted: app/method to repeat notification sound

seems very strange that Google removed the notification LED from Pixels - some say this is to make the phone less distracting, but i suspect the opposite is true because it forces people to constantly either have their phone with them, or to keep checking it

whatever the case, i need to be notified when a call or message was missed and a single notification sound is useless if i'm away from the phone, then return - so what i'd like is an app or method to keep repeating the notification sound (preferably at a configurable interval)

i found MissedNotificationsReminder but this worries me

for at least some people, this is hardly an optional feature - repeating notifications for missed messages/calls is absolutely a required functionality - even many cheap land-line phones have this

I don't know whether or not this is a feature of Google's OS. It seems unlikely that the GrapheneOS team would delete such a feature if it were part of AOSP, so I assume it isn't.

I would not expect that. The GrapheneOS project is focused on security and privacy, and does not typically invest in UI extensions or tweaks.
