I've always installed the updates via the "stable" release, however I couldn't wait to receive this new update and I've installed it thought the alpha release.

Now I've re-applied the option to receive the updates only via the stable version, can anybody tell me what should I expect to happen for the next updates?

When 2025111801 reaches the stable release, will I get a new prompt to install the update again?

CGG unmark the option: 4G Calling

CGG Block numbers that are not in your contacts

The 4G Calling / Voip works on mt P6. Will try the 9 later. I don' t use the second one so I can not test.

CGG well to solve this problem i have to do two things:

1- Go to phone history screen ( The one you make calls ) on the three dots in right side click and go to configurations -> Blocked numbers -> unmark the option: Numbers that are not in your contacts

2- Go to settings -> Network and Internet -> Chips -> Choose your operator + your number > 4G calling - and disable the option: Use 4G services to enhance voice calls (Recommended). Or some option that looks like this since my phone is in another language than english.

Was Desktop Mode available in this alpha build? And did you have to turn it off before updating if you already had it on (the older version of it)?

Carpool7341 I was able to use desktop mode after updating and it seemed to work for the most part. I hadn't tried it beforehand, though, so I can't speak to turning off or what version is included.
I had to turn it on in dev options.

Yes its available. Best to turn off the old version before updating as its a different feature/toggle and the toggle for the old version disappears, but if it was toggled on when the update was applied it remains active. The older version pops up if you turn off dev options and plug in a display.

This update is awful, I should never have done it. Every time I unlock my phone, I get haptic feedback, which I hate.
The option is clearly disabled in the settings, so I don't understand why this is happening.

With the latest 2511081 on a P9, things stay quiet once haptic feedback is disabled. Once it's enabled, the fingertip massage is back. Try turning the phone off completely and letting it "cold boot."

Stewart Haha, and here I was being happy that the unlock haptic was back again.

While it's probably not what you want (since unlock should be controlled by the Touch feedback option), it does turn of if you disable Vibration and haptics all together.

Settings > Accessibility > Vibrations and haptics > off

That seems to turn off haptics on the Lock Screen for me.

@Divby0 @fernlike If I disable the "vibration and haptic feedback" option, the phone will no longer vibrate for calls and notifications, and that's not what I want. Before the update, I just had to disable the touch feedback and keyboard vibration options in "vibration and haptic feedback" to avoid this problem.

Stewart Yeah I know, hopefully it's just a bug that'll get fixed soon (even though it is the only haptic feedback I actually like).

Non-native applications can no longer connect to the internet after this update ( my device particularly )

I use RethinkDNS + Mullvad wireguard file
