Hello, I'm new to Graphene OS, I installed a few days ago. I've had this issue from day 1 while setting up the accounts and it's been driving me crazy going through all the permissions and contacting my carrier about the issue as well.
Whenever I need to use SMS verification, I get a message along the lines of "Signal couldn't send an SMS code because of issues with the SMS provider. Try again in several hours". I've been trying for days and it's always the same thing. I called my carrier and they said on their end there should be no issue because nothing is blacklisted for me and I'm free to receive SMS from anyone.
I've enabled SMS permissions for Google Play Services and Google Play Store. I am able to get SMS verifications from Revolut and on websites via Vanadium.
I've enabled every permission I can. I've rebooted the phone, reinstalled the app, etc. The same message keeps popping up. Has anyone had the same issue?
I notice that there are no SMS permissions available for Signal in App permission settings. I have enabled Network, Phone, Contacts, Sensors and Notifications. Not sure if this causing the issue or not.
