sveior I could be wrong, but I don't think anyone (other than Google themselves) is faster than GrapheneOS in updates. They're extraordinarily quick to ensure all supported devices are running the most up-to-date versions/patches possible.
If the dates I'm reading are correct, Android 16 was released June 10th and the official release of Android 16 based GrapheneOS was June 30th.
That being said, GrapheneOS is wicked fast at all other updates (monthly security patches, etc), usually no more than a few days behind if something goes wrong.
The great thing with GOS is, if you try it and don't like it, you can always revert to stock.
