Good evening, firstly, I would like to share my excitement that Google has finally decided to release the stable version of Android 16 QPR1 code to AOSP. With this, the GrapheneOS development team will finally be able to adapt the operating system to the new Google Pixel 10 range. I know that some people were waiting for this moment to arrive (speculatively, it's probably a process that will take them 1 or 2 weeks to complete, let's not forget that I'm just giving my opinion from a position of ignorance, I'm not claiming anything at all, so I don't want any sharks jumping down my throat haha). Today, I am writing this post out of curiosity to ask if anyone knows what new interesting and noteworthy options/features/characteristics could be integrated into GrapheneOS next year in 2026. Mind you, I am not ruling out the possibility that this very question I am asking myself right now has already been asked before. I am someone who does not have time to check the GOS forums due to my studies, so this post I am writing could very well be a duplicate of a post that someone else has already made. Therefore, I ask for your understanding in this regard. One of the reasons I decided to buy a Google Pixel 10 Pro XL, in order to install GOS in the long term, in addition to privacy, is because of the corresponding 7 years of support provided by the operating system in question. I can comfortably use my Google Pixel 10 Pro XL until the end of 2033 or even the beginning of 2034.
