Three people now have tried to text me, but I have not recieved them. This is strange to me, as I have received texts and calls from other people with no issue.
Some additional information:
I am using a Pixel 9a with my old sim card from Verizon
The woman who I discovered this with is using an iPhone 13, and her associate has an iPhone 12. The 13th is with Verizon and the 12 is using Page+ which is based on Verizon. My father has also been unable to text me as well, and he is on the same Verizon plan as me.
-I can send them texts and they see them just fine, but their replies do not come through on my end
-I do not believe this is an iPhone issue as my mother uses an iPhone 8 with T-Mobile as a cell provider, and she can text me just fine.
-I can send and receive phone calls from the 13 just fine, the issue is solely with receiving texts.
I have gone to the Verizon store to troubleshoot, but they don't get it either. They can tell it isn't a network issue, and think it is an Apple issue. However, as said, some Apple phones can still send me texts, so it is on a phone-by-phone basis. I will try to go to the apple store I suppose? I am also about to try enabling e-sim support if that makes a difference.
