Galaxy Buds Pro cannot be paired with Pixel 9 Pro (GrapheneOS)

Hi everyone,

I have a Pixel 9 Pro with GrapheneOS and I'm trying to pair my Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro with it – unfortunately without success.
I've installed the Galaxy Wearable app, but the Buds aren't recognized during pairing.

I've already tried the following:
Turning Bluetooth off and on several times
Resetting the Buds and putting them back into pairing mode
Restarting the Pixel
Reinstalling the Galaxy Wearable app

Despite this, nothing appears when I try to pair them!
The Buds work perfectly fine with other devices (e.g., my old smartphone).

Does anyone have any idea what the problem could be?
Are there any limitations with Bluetooth or the Galaxy Wearable app under GrapheneOS?

Hi,

yes, I have Google Play Services installed (via the sandboxed Play setup in GrapheneOS).
Bluetooth in general works fine — other devices connect without any issues.
Only the Galaxy Buds Pro refuse to pair, even though they enter pairing mode and show up briefly in the Bluetooth list.

Do the Galaxy Buds Pro require any additional Samsung components besides the Galaxy Wearable app?

Try turning off LE Audio. I have the Buds 2 Pro and they glitch out when LE Audio is turned on. They still pair though, but only the right bud works when LE is turned on. I know it's different than your issue, but considering out of all the buds I own, the Samsungs are the only with problems, I think it's worth mentioning.

How exactly can I turn off LE Audio on GrapheneOS (Pixel 9 Pro)?
I’ve looked through the Bluetooth and Developer settings but I’m not sure where that option is located.
