Can I install GrapheneOS on an Easytech E1035 tablet?

I am trying to instal graphene OS on an easytech E1035
it's not going well
i think i got it with the tablet
but nothing is going well in the laptop side
i am on windows 10 using brave
after trying a lot with the web instaler
but now i am trying with the terminal

Is this the name of your laptop? The specific laptop model probably doesn't matter much so long as it meets the prerequisites.

gabi you should move over to Linux, like ubuntu, debian, etc windows is pure trash.

I found it much easier to install graphene on Linux environments

The fastboot error ur getting implies a path problem, your terminal isn't finding the fastboot program

Change into the correct directory or add the director y to your global path variable

de0u GrapheneOS is currently only supported on the Google Pixel phones and tablets. There is another manufacturer forthcoming next year that hasn't been named, but I doubt it's going to be that one.

mr_r0bot de0u is well aware and is a bit of a veteran on these forums. He/she was simply pointing out that OP is attempting to install GOS on an unsupported device and providing a link to the device OP is attempting to install on for clarity for others.

If you are trying to install GrapheneOS on your Easytech E1035 tablet, it is impossible

I agree,

I have just, within the last hours, upgraded my P6a, (dropped it yesterday) to a P8a
It took me 45 minutes, from start to finish, I installed Fedora 43, then Chromium browser on a laptop, and then using the laptop, followed the simple steps on the web installer to install GrapheneOS.
HDD now formatted and removed, I prefer Tails on a 32GB USB drive.

i don't know what the correct directory is

In your terminal window

If using windows type
echo %CD%

If using linux type
echo $pwd

That will print your current directory.

If you are not inside the directory that the fastboot program is in, move into it, then your fastboot cmd will work

However, u can't install grapehene on any device, only pixel phones to my knowledge...

So give up with your laptop and put a Linux distro on it like ubuntu or Debian etc

@gabi if you want to evaluate desktop OSs based on privacy and security, this thread may be useful

Traditional Linux distributions have poor privacy and security. They lack proper app sandboxing and other app privacy/security, lack isolation throughout the OS, are nearly all memory unsafe languages and lack modern exploit protections.

If you still want Linux (less secure than Windows) on an x86 PC, the Linux OS secureblue would reduce risk. Macbooks and Chromebooks are a step further in security. There is also promise for desktop use for Google Pixels 8th generation and above, through Android's Desktop Mode.

GrapheneOS qualifies as a Linux distro, but it is far more private and secure than traditional distros or MacOS. Once Android QPR1 releases for GrapheneOS and there are improvements to Desktop Mode, I believe that will be ideal in privacy and security for many desktop needs
