Today it appears that the default messaging app now creates a pop-up bubble overlay over my home screen every time that I get a message. I do not see a setting to turn off that behavior. It appears that I am using version 12 of the app. Does anyone know if this is a new behavior, and if there is a a way to turn off that feature?
