Ryd App not working in non-owner profiles

I’m having an issue with the Ryd payment app (for gas stations) on my Pixel 9 Pro XL. The app only shows the Google logo on the main screen and nothing else but this happens only in profiles other than the Owner profile.

I found a thread that could be related regarding a banking app:

Following that discussion, I uninstalled Ryd from both the Owner and Personal profiles, then reinstalled it from the Play Store on the Owner profile. In the Owner profile (with Sandboxed Play Services) the app now works and shows the map.

In the Personal profile, the app still won’t work. Before reinstalling I was seeing an error about an unknown calling package name: com.google.android.gms, but that error no longer appears. However, the app still shows only the Google logo and I can’t find any explanation in the logs.

The app requires Google services to be installed in the said profile.

I have Google Play Services installed and also had them installed before reinstalling the App. For some reason that specific error message is gone now though

Just a thought:

Currently I am not logged into a Google Account on the secondary Profile, but maybe logging in and installing the Ryd app directly within the secondary Profile could be a workaround.

Would this cause any issues because of other apps that also installed via play store (on the owner profile) and then pushed to the secondary profile?

I found out that I did not allow Google Play Services Network access. It seems like no app on my secondary profile needed it until now. Allowing it fixed the issue.
