Kia Connect (the new app) do not work

Last update of GOS (2026012800) seems to have resolved the issue. It's no more necessary to disable secure app spawning before launching Kia app for it to work.

Anyone else having issues with connection to server in the app? I can’t connect to car, and tapping the “control” tab, I get “Error connecting to server.. Please try again. If the problem continue, please contact customer support. (Errorcode: 104001)”(Freely translated to English)
I get same error trying to view my account page in the app.

I have no issues connecting to the car from my company iPad, so something is pointing to my phone or GOS.

I’ve tried all the general compability steps as outlined in the pinned thread, and have eliminated vpn. Also I have tried enabling the use of google server in GOS.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Roede It's working for me. I don't know what is happening with yours.

Vincent96 thanks for the report - must be something on my system, which to my knowledge is standard GOS setup. Tried complete reinstall, but no luck.

Roede if you have developer mode turned on that could be an issue with this particular app. I haven't got exploit compatibility mode on and I still have secure spawning enabled.

Not turned om and neither is exploit Comp. Secure spawning is also enabled.. Thanks for the suggestion though...
I had a similar issue (server connection errorcode 500) with SAS airlines app running with MicroG os E/os, and it disappeared with an update to microG. Never understood what the exact problem was...
