gk7ncklxlts99w1 I recently heard about Nym and Obscura which appear to do similar things. I'm curious if you've looked into partnering with any of these companies to incorporate their unique VPNs into Rethink
Obscura supports exporting WireGuard configuration, and so, importing that into Rethink should make it work? Their FAQ notes that their server-side multi-hop applies to exported configurations.
As for Nym, I'm unsure if they support vanilla WireGuard, but if they did, Rethink should be able to connect to their servers just fine.
Besides, Rethink has multi-hop capabilities built-in into the client. You can import, say, Windscribe (£3/mo on BYOP) + Mullvad (£5/mo) and hop Mullvad over Windscribe or vice versa for £8/mo (the same rate as Obscura).
In the upcoming version, v055v, Rethink will integrate with Windscribe for auto-imports of their WireGuard (for a nominal fee) and in a version or two after, we plan to turn on our relays (which are a bit expensive, so we are holding off on these for v1 even though the code is ready).
gk7ncklxlts99w1 A few years ago I made this recommendation with Portmaster though nothing came of it
tbf, when our project was incurring high costs (£15000+ bills) someone from Safing did reach out to me.
