Hello.
I am not able to use the BTPay app anymore. I get a message in the app saying my phone is rooted. I've looked up other posts and people seem to have similar problems.
I installed shizuku and magisk briefly to troubleshoot why I couldn't be called by other people. While doing that I disabled the BTPay app itself because I knew it would cause conflict and get the root message. After I was done with that I uninstalled shizuku and magisk. I haven't enabled adb/wireless debugging to install magisk properly and hide it from other apps.
I contacted the customer service at least 4 times already, asked them to unlock my app. They asked if I rooted my phone or if I have another OS installed, I said no. After they removed the phone rooted message, I proceed with setting up the app. When I reach the face and ID scan it says to wait and then I get the same rooted device message, contact support.
Why would the app detect my phone as rooted? Is it because they see some files from when shizuku/magisk were installed? I had another rooted phone message in september out of nowhere. Contacted support and it worked just fine until a few weeks ago.
