Issue: The phone just randomly bricked out of nowhere... it suddenly shut off and won't power on at all or respond to anything. My phone was plugged in, fully charged, and wasn't hot or anything. I was listening to audio on bluetooth headphones while watching a video. Then, it just went black. There were no errors or anything preceding this event.
Circumstance: The phone physically appears to be in perfect condition. It hasn't been dropped or exposed to water or anything, either. The only notable health concern would be that it was getting hot with the hotspot on the previous day.
Troubleshooting: Plugging in a verified-working power cord. Unplugging. Using key combinations like power + volume up/down and holding for over 30 seconds in each combination. Doing so with and without the power plug attached. There isn't anything I can do to get the phone to register anything. It is quite literally a brick as far as I can tell.
Going forward: I have little hope that there is anything that can possibly be done to revive my bricked phone, but I am willing to try things. I also wanted to report this incident since I don't see reports of this happening to others so this experience is worth sharing.
