Fresh install Pixel 9 Pro - no inbound sms received and no calls out

Hi there just as it reads.

Default or google messagers can send but not receive sms, and phone doesn't make calls. This same sim was in another phone 10 mins prior and receiving sms. Fresh install on NEW Pixel 9 Pro.

greenie537 Were you previously an iPhone user? If so, did you turn off iMessage and FaceTime in settings? If you didn't, you can deregister your phone number from iMessage and that should fix it.

Same issue here, I was using a oneplus 6 prior moving to the pixel 9 pro under GOS.
Any other lead that could have caused the issue?

I found older discussion mentioning a full reset of the phone could solve it, but I'd rather dig a little more before doing such thing :\
