How to use as webcam?

I launched the new Android webcam feature and connected the Pixel to my PC beforehand.
The camera is already visible in Zoom, but the microphone is not working yet.
What should I do?

Dan-cer I see various claims online that, at least as of Android 14, Google's Android webcam feature does not include audio, which is included in various third-party apps such as "Droidcam" and "Camo" (source source). Google's documentation of the feature does not appear to mention audio.

I'm not sure if the microphone is supposed to work. I normally only use video from my phone as webcam with a seperate mic that sounds better anyway.
I also just tried connecting it on linux and I don't see it as an input source. So I guess it's only supposed to transmit video.

de0u I spent two hours today trying to get Droidcam to work. So far, to no avail. With a WiFi connection, the port is apparently not correct, and with a USB connection, the smartphone is not recognized properly either.
Out of the box is something else.
So for now, I'll fall back on my old webcam. It doesn't have HD quality, but that's not usually that important.
