Pixel 7 pro to 9 pro XL, how is it?

I have pixel 7 pro and it heats, battery is not thr best and picture/video recording not as good, also charging speed is kinda slow especially it usually heats and that make it even slower. So, did someone moved from 7 pro to 9 XL, how is it better or just the same?

Shade It's mostly the same (well, except for MTE and displayport output), but the battery life is definitively better. Sonic fingerprint reader doesn't seem to be significantly better nor worse than Pixel 7 Pro optical reader, the one thing that would make a significant difference for me (Sattellite SOS) doesn't work in Graphene, so the battery life is the only thing I feel. That, and it feels a bit snappier, but it may also be because I bought a 9 Pro XL with more storage than I had in 7 Pro.

LeslieFH ultra sonic fingerprint should be safer aside from the speed to detected, as I understand it takes 3d view of fingerprint rather than 2d with the optical. is battery much improvement? because it's an important thing to me, I'm always concern about battery with 7 Pro when I go out. it gives me about 4 hours screan on time and screen off is not doing any better. I think the mobile data consumes a lot 40% even though I use LTE not 5G

Significant improvement, AccuBattery gives me an estimate of 8:28 screen on time with fully charged battery, 51 hours screen off (and I have 2 SIMs active).
