My Pixel 8 Pro runs 2025100901. It detects USB-C video cables and displays something on my external monitor.
Unfortunately, that something is a black screen with a white circle. If I lock the phone, the clock screensaver appears on my monitor. If I play a video on VLC, the video shows on the monitor. Phone audio also plays out via the TV's speakers.
It shows in Settings → Connected devices → External display. That also allows me to set rotation.
But how do I get regular screen mirroring to work? I want to see my device's screen on my TV. Thanks!
