Permafrost They should work fine as long as you use sandboxed Google play (store and services), give them appropriate permissions, etc. I use Whatsapp on GOS, and it works. Removing the sandbox isn't possible (except maybe with rooting, but that is very bad for security, and should not be done; it defeats the point of using GOS), and it isn't necessary. You also may want to consider putting your school stuff in a separate (non-owner) profile from everything else, then enable notification forwarding and allow profiles to run in the background. This way, the school apps, accounts, etc are isolated from and can't interfere with your personal stuff. Also, you can have Vanadium treat some sites like it is on a desktop, I have used this to get past sites that don't allow mobile users.
