Install Graphene over Calyx?

I have Calyx installed on my Pixel 7. Do I need to factory reset before installing Graphene?

buddsky yes, you'll have to reset your phone. I suggest backing up important data you want to keep before installing

Just unlock the booloader and the web installer will handle it from there.

Hi there, I guess I am pretty much facing the same situation as you did, including overthinking.
So basically it's just (re-)opening the bootloader and leave the grapheneos installer do their magic?
Have app and other data as pics e.g. been preserved? Or did you have to set up everything from scratch?

Don't overthink, backup your apps with Seedvault and migrate from Calyx ASAP.
Restore them on GOS. Not all of them will work, but it's a good starting point.

No. All data stored on the device will be erased.

Yes. It will be a fresh install that you will have configure from scratch, install apps, etc.
