Compatibility of UK ETA app with GrapheneOS

Hello everyone!

I need your help with a specific question regarding the compatibility of a government application on GrapheneOS.

I'm planning a trip to the UK from Spain in a couple of months, and to manage entry, I need the E-Visa (Electronic Visa). The process requires using the official application: UK ETA, available on the Google Play Store.

My concern is whether this app will work correctly on my Pixel 8 running GrapheneOS with Google Play services installed. I'm not sure if UK ETA performs strict device integrity checks (like Play Integrity or the deprecated SafetyNet) that could block access or functionality upon detecting a modified operating system.

I would much prefer not to have to resort to using my backup iPhone 11 Pro Max. Has anyone in the community had experience using this app or other sensitive government apps on GrapheneOS?

Any information or confirmation on whether this app uses an attestation level that causes issues would be a great help.

I will not bow down to governments or any other powerful entity to act on their terms. I do it my way. People obviously forget there are various ways of doing things and that you don't need an app for many kinds of trivial activities. You can check the football scores in an app or you can just go online an have a look.

Drinded I eventually had it to work after many many tries. I don't think the problems were related to GrapheneOS, but to the app itself. I had to make three visas. Mine worked the first time, then it was a headache for each of my daughters.
