I have already noticed an option within the security settings which allow you to scan your device. But I never bothered myself with the option.

But now I am starting to wonder what does the scan exactly does ? I am pretty sure it does not scan for malware... Does it check the settings, to see if the security of the device isn't compromised ? For example if we toggle off an option that we shouldn't.

23Sha-ger thanks for the link. But I didn't mean the play protect option. I meant the option to scan your device settings, when you go to your security settings.

__Blank__ I'm pretty sure it just checks to see if relevant security settings are on, like setting up a password/pin.
