Fast battery drain and bootloop when at 0%

Hello everyone. Since the last update, my battery percentage randomly fall down very quickly. It happens the most when my phone automatically restart at night. Also, when the phone is at 0%, it bootloop when I plug the USB charger. What can I do ? Can I reinstall GrapheneOS through recovery mode ?

Bachi I've just experienced a bootloop this morning. The pixel 8a would boot immediately after plugging in the charger and it would shut down immedaitely on the sim unlock screen due to too low of a battery. This despite using a fast charger. I had to interrupt the boot process at the 'loading different OS' warning screen by pressing the power button once, waiting for a while and pressing it again. Maybe give it a try?

As for random battery percentage fall, I know nothing about it and so far haven't experienced it myself.

Bachi OK, since the 6a recently had its battery updated to address overheating issues, which also reduced the overall capacity, that was my first thought.

krysor I somehow achieved to solve the issue by force shutdown the phone and leaving it 20min plugged. Very weird, I think it's a bug related to auto reboot since the last update. I hope this will be addressed

Bachi Do you happen to know you achieved this shutdown? Mine would boot the second I connected it with a charger

krysor I think you can do that by 3 ways :

entering in recovery mode by pressing vol- and power button when the phone isn't booting
force shutdown by very long press the power button
if the phone boots in the SIM code screen, quickly turn it off juste before it crashes and bootloop again

I had this with a 6a. It would boot to bfu and reboot, some times I was able to unlock but it would immediately reboot.

I was able to pause the boot by pressing power button and waiting for a charge to build
